Lemoyne Gang Green Environmental Club

Do you have an interest in improving the local environment in your community? Do you want to make a difference? Would you enjoy meeting like-minded neighbors and township residents who care about environmental health right where you live?

If so, the new Lemoyne Gang Green Environmental Club is for you. We are currently seeking residents to come together for discussion of the club's interests and goals. Together we can identify the environmental needs of our community, choose educational programs and hands-on-projects we wish to get involved in, and discuss concrete ways we can make a difference. Representatives of local scout troops, green school and faith-based organizations, and local business leaders with an interest in keeping our environment clean are welcome to join area residents.

You may contact Shirley Stark  at 717-774-5545 or email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Environmental clubs are being born in townships and communities in a 20 mile radius of Harrisburg under the umbrella of the newly-formed "Green C.A.U.S.E (Capital Area United to Sustain the Environment," created by retired-teacher, Paul Garrett, and members of the Mechanicsburg Area Environmental Club. The vision is to impact the greater environmental good of the Harrisburg area by linking our community members, providing support and communication - both online and in person, and providing a place for individuals to work together to have a positive environmental impact. Please see for more information. We hope you will join us!
